In the first trailer we get a first taste of the game world, which is very futuristic this time – it goes back to the Kalos region, which we already know from Pokémon X and Y.
More precisely, we are looking after Illumina Citythe huge metropolis in the center of the French region. Nintendo has already confirmed that we are in legends: ZA only in Illumina City:
This means that in legends: ZA probably no lush green forests, rough mountain landscapes and picturesque beaches. All nature lovers among you have to adjust to a purely urban setting, which is atypical for the series.
Wild sectors: So that you can at least get the old game back a little, there are wild sectors. In these demolished areas within the city you will find wild Pokémon, which you can then catch like in legends: Arceus. In addition, Pokémon also escape these sectors and can be found on roofs, for example.
Tag night change: During the day everyone live peacefully with the Pokémon in the city. At night, on the other hand, the city becomes a scene for the Royale tournament. You then meet other coaches in the city, fight against them and climb in the rank from Z to A, which also explains the title of the game.
Pokémon legends ZA – gameplay
For legends ZA, Gamefreak has once again come up with a revised combat system.
More action -packed than ever before: In contrast to all the other parts of the series, the new game will almost rely on an active combat system. So you can select the attacks directly and your Pokémon then attacks. You can even avoid some attacks by pulling your Pokémon back at the right moment. But you also have to take care of your position as a trainer, since you can also be attacked.
