Lawn Ball Sport Leipzig is looking for a new trainer – and hardly a day goes by without new speculation. Now an ex-world champion has supposedly made it to the list.
RB Leipzig is still looking for a trainer – and apparently thinks in new directions. According to information from the “Leipziger Volkszeitung”, CESC Fàbregas should also be a candidate for the successor of Marco Rose.
The Spaniard is currently head coach at the Italian first division team Como 1907. The promoted team is currently in the secured midfield of Serie A. A specific source for the Leipzig interest is not mentioned in the report. Instead, reference is made to the connection between Fàbregas’ former teammate Thierry Henry and Leipzig’s supervisory board head Oliver Mintzlaff.
Since the separation from Marco Rose at the end of March, Zsolt Löw has been looking after the team. The 45-year-old is actually part of Jürgen Klopp’s employee and wants to return there after the end of the season.
