Will announce fee in the morning
US President Donald Trump has said that the announcement of fee in the morning will prove to be ‘liberation day’ for the US in the morning (India time). The Ministry of Commerce is working on a potential four scenarios to assess the possible results of these counter -fees, as there is still uncertainty in what quantity and in what way this fee will be levied.
Very good relations with India, problem only high fees
Recently, US President Donald Trump had said that there is a ‘very good relationship’ with India. The only problem is that India is one of the highest customs countries in the world. Along with this, Trump had also reiterated his threat to impose counter customs duty on imports from India from April 2. Trump had said that on April 2, we will charge the same fee from them as they charge from us. Trump has repeatedly criticized India’s high fees on US products. During a joint press conference with Prime Minister Modi at the White House last month, Trump had said that India had been very strict in the matter of customs. Trump had said in early March that India has agreed to “cut” its fee.
