The mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínezhas opened at the Casal Solleric the retrospective exhibition of artist Peter Halley (New York, 1953) that can be visited until May 25.
In a press release, the City Council of Palma has reported that the mayor, Jaime Martínez, opened this Saturday, at Casal Solleric, the exhibition Peter Halley in Spain, co-produced by the City Council and the National Museum Thyssen-Bornemisza, which collects about twenty works by the New York artist, from public and private collections and made between 1985 and 2024.
The act has taken place at 12 noon, within the programming of the new edition of the Art Palma Brunch. The exhibition will remain open on the ground floor and the insolve of the Casal Solleric until May 25.
The presentation of this retrospective, which constitutes the first individual sample that Halley is carried out in Spain since 1992, has had the author’s assistance and also collectors BLanca and Borja Thyssen and the artistic director of the National Museum Thyssen-Bornemisza and Commissioner of the exhibition, Guillermo Solana.
