According to the company’s official website, the booking of Model Y has been started for Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram. According to the official website, customers will have to pay Rs 6 lakh separately for the full-self driving (FSD) variants of this car.

Tesla model y’s specialties

This electric car has been introduced in two different variants- Long Range All Wheel Drive (AWD) and Long Range Rear Wheel Drive (RWD). It has a single electric motor in the RWD variant, which generates about 295 HP power and 420 Nm of torque. Its certified range is said to be 500 km. The car takes only 5.6 seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 100 km per hour.

Talking about AWD long range variants, its certified driving range is 622 km. At the same time, its motor generates 384 bhp power and 510 Nm torque. Its top speed is stated to be 217 km per hour. This car can catch a speed of 0-100 km per hour in just 4.6 seconds.

Charge will be done in 15 minutes

Tesla has equipped her model y cars with fast charging technology. It is being claimed that this car is charged for running for 238 kilometers in just 15 minutes.

All variants of Tesla Model Y are lenses with level-2 Adas driving technology. It provides many features like Forward Colegen Warning, Automatic Emergency Breaking, Lane Keep Assist, Speed Limit Assist. Apart from this, 6 airbags have also been given standard in the car.
