The story of José María Borrego Doblas, husband of the legendary communicator and father of Carmen y Tereluis one of the greatest secrets of the well -known family. Although they are news for each step they take, their death is one of the issues they prefer not to speak, although over the years they have opened the door to mention it before the cameras. The couple married in 1964, after years having been companions in a radio station in Malaga. Fruit of his relationship his two daughters were born, but the happiness of marriage broke when he did not see with good eyes that María Teresa accepted a job offer in Madrid, to begin her radio career nationwide and later in TVE. From that moment, the couple lived separately, although They never legally divorced, but in 1984 he decided to take his life.

Terelu recalled how his childhood and adolescence happened in his native Malaga, but also his mother’s decision: «He was brave and came to Madrid. Carmen and I stayed alone and when she left, she saw her sorrow’s face. But he did well».

But not all memories are pretty, his father’s death has marked him forever: «I have received a lot of love. COn 18 years I received the stick of my life. It was in a summer of 1984. My father was director of National Radio in Marbella …, and decided to go home and hit a shot».

Naturally, that slab continues to weigh, although the passage of time has helped cope with it. «Living with that is not easy. You learn as so many people who have happened to them. My mother stayed alone, with someone who I think she wanted to make her guilty. But my sister and I do not consent. My mother only gave happiness to her family and her daughters, ”he confessed to a Laura Madrueño that he could not avoid getting excited.

For the first time, Terelu Campos has spoken clearly and detailed about that tragedy that has marked his life: «What he did with whom my mother was at that time did not give him the right to leave my sister and my mother, trying to point her. I’m sorry, but you never got it».

The initial hatred has been changing to understanding, so that his opinion has changed: «They had to spend twenty -five years until I forgave him.
