A fire broke out in a leather factory in the Friedrichsdorf district of Köppern (Hochtaunuskreis). At around 10.30 a.m. the report was received by the West Hesse police headquarters, a spokesman said. The fire extended itself from the roof area to other parts of the factory building. People were not harmed. The extinguishing work continued at noon, which is why a road was partially cordoned off. At first there was no information on the cause of the fire and the damage caused by property.
