The JBS refrigerator (JBSS3) concluded the acquisition of 48.5% of the total capital and 50% of Mantiqueira Food voting shares last Tuesday (1).
Mantiqueira is considered the largest egg producer in South America and the tenth largest in the world. The movement marks JBS entry into the egg segment, expanding its diverse global protein platform, which already includes cattle, chickens, pigs, aquaculture and alternative proteins (plant-base and cultivated) on five continents.
