India and Israel have taken important steps to further strengthen their defense relations. Under this, the two countries on Wednesday agreed to develop an institutional structure to further deepen their defense relations. The decision was taken during a meeting of top defense officers of both countries in New Delhi. Bilateral talks took place between India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Major General (Retired), Director General of Israel Ministry of Defense.
During this time both sides emphasized on strengthening defense cooperation from a long -term perspective. Giving information in the case, the Indian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the two countries have agreed to create an institutional structure to deepen the defense relations.

Common message against terrorism
During the meeting, the two countries gave a shared message on the issue of terrorism. In the case, the Israeli officer condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April and spoke of giving full support to India’s struggle against terrorism. At the same time, on behalf of India, the Defense Secretary condemned the terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023 and demanded the release of all the hostages. He reiterated India’s zero tolerance policy towards terrorism.
Emphasis on technical and strategic cooperation
Let us know that the two countries also reviewed the defense cooperation held after the meeting of the previous Joint Working Group held in India in July 2024. The tour has been described as an important step for India and Israel defense relations. The statement said that the yatra reflects the commitment of both countries to further strengthen strategic partnership.

Top military officers talk
Along with this, the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General of India Anil Chauhan also met the delegation of Israel. In the case, the Headquarters Integrated Defense Staff (AchQ IDS) shared pictures on social media, stating that the meeting discussed important issues like global and regional security challenges, advance technology, anti -terrorism efforts and strategic schemes.
The Achchue IDS also said that the talks reflect the shared desire of the two countries to strengthen military relations and create a long -term strategic partnership. Significantly, this meeting is considered a big step towards giving more new height to defense cooperation between India and Israel, which will make technical partnership and security cooperation and powerful in the coming time.
