The game’s competitive circuit has evolved over the years, with preparations for the Valorant Champions Tour 2024 (VCT 2024) beginning as early as last year. The first major international tournament of the upcoming season, Valorant Masters Madrid 2024, is set to take place from March 14th to March 24th. The Contenders for Valorant Masters Madrid 2024

The VCT 2024’s inaugural global event will feature eight top teams from various regions, each representing one of the four International Leagues – Americas, Pacific, EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa), and China.

Only the top two teams from each of these regional leagues will secure a spot to compete in Madrid, Spain, making this tournament a high-stakes competition that will crown the year’s first Valorant champion.

These teams earned their spots by ranking in the top two in the recently concluded Valorant Kickoff event in their respective regions. The teams that have qualified for Valorant Masters Madrid 2024 include:

Pacific League

Breaking Down the Valorant Masters Madrid 2024 Format

The Swiss Stage will run from March 14th to March 18th, 2024, with all matches being best-of-three (BO3). The Playoffs will follow from March 21st to March 24th, 2024, featuring a double-elimination bracket. All matches, except for the lower bracket final and the grand final, will be BO3. The lower final and the grand final will be BO5.

Following the Madrid event, the next international tournament, Valorant Masters Shanghai 2024, is scheduled for May. This will be the first international Valorant tournament hosted in China, marking another milestone in the game’s expanding competitive reach.
