Baghpat: A total of 36 young men and women of Sarurpurkala village of Baghpat have recently passed the recruitment examination and secured a place in the Uttar Pradesh Police Force. The most important thing is that most of them have passed this examination without admission in any coaching institute. Village head Jagveer said that there is not a single coaching institute in our village, nor we have the facility of professional physical instructor. The youth here practice themselves.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) had announced the selection of 60,244 candidates under direct recruitment-2023 on 13 March. The recruitment process held in early February last year had to be canceled due to leaks of question paper. After this, the examination was held again in August. 48,17,441 people applied for police recruitment.

Some 36 young soldiers including 12 girls are selected

Jagveer, the head of Sururpur Kalan village, said that the youth of Sarurpurkala village with about 20-22 thousand population want to go to the army or police, but the first priority of the youth is now police. He said that this time about 150 youths of the village had filled the form of police recruitment, out of which 12 girls, including 12 girls, managed to be selected as soldiers. Bharti finally passed the written examination of the Uttar Pradesh Police and now he realized her dream by achieving success in physical examination too. Komal says, “I gave many recruitment exams including Delhi Police, CRPF, Chandigarh Police, Haryana Police, SSC Steno, UPPCL. Most of the examinations were out of the selection list by a slight margin. For the first time, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination was given and got success. Anjali, who passed the police recruitment examination, has completed his B.Ed. many years ago. She says that she wanted to become a teacher, but the UPAT has not been tested for the last two years.

Youth happy for being admitted to police

Anjali says that she did not want to wait long to become a teacher, so she filled the form of recruitment examination of Delhi Police and Reserve Police Force but the final result of those examinations has not come yet. However, in the meantime she took the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination in which she became successful. Aryan Nain of the village says, “36 youths of our village have been selected in the police. There are 12 girls among them.
