Back at the Bhosle household, Bhagyashree and Isha pressed Jayant to explain what was going on. Isha pointed out that they hadn’t even eaten breakfast yet, to which Janaki responded that the family couldn’t eat at their place because they were strict vegetarians, while the Bhosles were non-vegetarians. Savi, ever resourceful, reassured them that she had anticipated this and prepared the food in new, separate vessels, ensuring that it was suitable for vegetarians. Impressed by Savi’s consideration, Janki commented that Savi would be a great addition to their family.
As everyone settled down for lunch, Isha noticed that Raju had not arrived yet. Soon after, Raju appeared with Rajat, much to the relief of everyone present. The meal proceeded, with Savi and Rajat sharing a sweet moment, teased by Mrunmayi. After lunch, Janki presented a gift to Savi, signaling her approval and welcoming her into the family.
The family priest, or Pandit, then inquired if anyone had any conditions before the marriage could proceed. Bhagyashree, feeling proud of Rajat’s accomplishments, declared that they had no conditions since Rajat was financially stable. However, Isha had her own stipulations. She insisted that Savi should continue her teaching career even after marriage. Bhagyashree questioned the necessity of this condition, but Rajat readily agreed. Isha then revealed another condition, stating that Rajat must support Savi’s dream of studying for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam. Once again, Rajat and his family agreed, and the Pandit declared the ritual completed successfully.
In another scene, at a school, a teacher checked what the children had prepared as a band, noticing that Sai had made a ring for Rajat. The teacher suggested that Sai should give the ring to her father, but Sai hesitated, revealing that she lived with her mother. She requested the teacher to call her father, and the teacher agreed.
Later, Shantanu and Isha presented Savi with a “ring of love forever,” chosen for her engagement with Rajat. Savi reminded them that her marriage to Rajat was purely for Sai’s sake, asking them not to have any unrealistic expectations. Despite Isha and Shantanu’s attempts to reassure her that her feelings might change after marriage, Savi remained unconvinced and walked away.
At the school, Rajat arrived, bringing joy to Sai, who was eager to give him the ring she had made. However, the mood quickly soured when Ashika arrived and caused a scene. She accused Rajat of trying to manipulate the situation to gain custody and warned him to stay away from Sai without her permission. She then left with Saisha, leaving Rajat frustrated but more determined than ever to win the custody battle.
As preparations continued, Radha asked Mrunmayi about the meaning of “Saraj,” to which Mrunmayi explained it was a hashtag for Savi and Rajat. Radha approved, saying it sounded good. Rajat’s family then arrived at the engagement venue, where Isha was preparing to welcome them. Janki remarked on Isha’s decision to wear a traditional Marathi saree, even though they had already won the competition. Raju advised his family not to create any unnecessary drama during the event.
As the episode concluded, a minor hiccup occurred when Savi and Rajat realized they had forgotten their engagement rings. In a touching moment, Saisha gave them threads to tie as makeshift rings, symbolizing their union. The engagement ceremony was then further brightened by a performance from the famous singer, Shaan.
