In Munich-Giesing, a chicken got into a tricky location on a trip. The fire brigade saved the animal and brought it to the shelter.
The Munich fire brigade freed a chicken from a predicament on Monday morning in Giesing. The animal stuck in a narrow gap and could no longer move, as the fire brigade announced.
Around 7:20 a.m., police forces noticed the chicken on Tegernseer Landstrasse, which apparently wanted to save itself in a gap while fleeing. However, it had underestimated the width of the column and got stuck after a few centimeters. The chicken had so much momentum that his feet no longer touched the floor and could not free itself.
Since the police could not determine the owner of the animal and there were no suitable transport options, the fire brigade was alerted. With a small alarm vehicle and special transport boxes for animals, the emergency services managed to get access to the narrow gap and free the chicken.
After the chicken was safely and healthy, the fire brigade brought it to the shelter. There it can now explore the farm together with other peers.
