Call of Duty: Mobile Introduces Machine Pistol in Season 5

May 20, 2024 – Call of Duty: Mobile is gearing up for its latest update, Season 5: Digital Dusk, which goes live on May 22, 2024. The new season brings a slew of exciting additions, including the much-anticipated Machine Pistol.

The announcement was made through Call of Duty: Mobile’s official Twitter handle, @PlayCODMobile, which teased the new season with the message: “Time to go old school 🪖 The new Season 5 weapon, the Machine Pistol, goes live on May 22 in the BP!”

New Weapon: Machine Pistol

The Machine Pistol, inspired by the Mauser C96 from Call of Duty: Black Ops II, is a fully-automatic sidearm known for its high rate of fire. This weapon is particularly effective in close-quarter combat, making it a valuable addition to any player’s arsenal. The introduction of this weapon aims to enhance the gameplay experience by providing more dynamic and fast-paced action.

Season 5: Digital Dusk Highlights

Season 5, titled Digital Dusk, not only features the Machine Pistol but also introduces several new elements to the game:

1. Frequency Map: Originally from Call of Duty: Black Ops IV, the Frequency map is set in a covert listening station in the mountains. Players can engage in battles across various areas, including labs and data rooms, adding a fresh strategic layer to the game.
2. Emergency Airdrop: This new scorestreak allows players to call in reinforcements, significantly impacting the tide of battle.
3. Themed Event – Fractured Society: In this event, players must navigate through danger zones to collect supplies and upgrade their masks. Rewards include the Zane — Dark Fibers Operator Skin and the RUS-79U — Compromised Weapon Blueprint.

Multiplayer Ranked Series Update

The current Multiplayer Ranked Series will conclude in Season 5. Players are encouraged to make a final push up the ranks to earn daily bonuses and Rank XP. This is an excellent opportunity for players to improve their skills and prepare for the next ranked series starting in Season 6.
