Rupprecht now has the World Cup belts of the associations WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF. It had succeeded in no boxer and no boxer from Germany in front of her. “To be honest, I am overwhelmed, I can’t realize it yet,” said the part -time teacher in the ring: “I think we really made advertising for women’s boxing and inspired people.” For Rupprecht it was the 15th victory in the 17th fight.
A balanced exchange of blows developed from the start in front of 2,500 spectators in the sold -out MBS Arena. The only 1.53 meter tall Rupprecht with the nickname “Tiny Tina” was nimble on his feet and the more active boxer. Her Japanese opponent brought some counter strokes to the finish line. In the end, Rupprecht also prevailed thanks to its greater variability.
