It is considered one of the most famous singers in the country – and yet Yvonne Catterfeld has to delete some concert dates. Even if it is difficult for her.

Singer Yvonne Catterfeld canceled two concerts of her current “Move” tour. The 45-year-old informed her fans on social media that the planned appearances in Dresden and Leipzig will not take place. The dates were planned for the 23rd and 25th May of this year. The reason for the short -term cancellation is too low.

“It is important to me to be honest with you,” wrote the artist in her Instagram statement. Then she explained the step with economic challenges: “A tour with all those involved in front of and behind the stage brings high fixed costs, which have risen significantly lately for various reasons. At the same time, we also want to offer you fair ticket prices.”

The shows in the two Saxon cities would have led to financial losses due to the low number of visitors. Fans who have already acquired tickets can return them to the respective sales outlets.

The “Move” tour starts on May 14th in Cologne and originally included seven appointments. The concerts in Cologne, Frankfurt,, Munich,, Hamburg And Berlin are carried out as planned. “I am all the more pleased to see you at the shows in Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin!” Catterfeld knew in their message on social media.

Yvonne Catterfeld also emphasized how much she wrestled with her in view of the lack of sales. “The cancellation is not easy for me at all and I very much regret it! I like to be on stage for you and I am happy if it is a nice experience for you, but in this case it is unfortunately not possible for me.” Other German pop stars have also suffered similar fates in the past. For example, Maite Kelly had to cancel parts of her tour last year.
