At the market, Baani finds herself in a heated argument with Balwant’s men because of her attitude. They are displeased and decide to report her behavior to Balwant. When Balwant hears about this, he demands Baani return his money. Baani agrees to do so by the next day. Poonam, worried about their situation, shares her concerns with Baani. Baani tries to reassure Poonam, confidently saying that she will handle everything. Meanwhile, Aastha is momentarily distracted by Nandu, who forcefully takes her to enjoy some street food, golgappe.
On the other hand, Rajat is facing his own troubles at work. His boss, unhappy with Rajat taking a half-day leave, compares him unfavorably to a junior intern. This infuriates Rajat, leading to a tense argument. The boss, not willing to back down, assigns Rajat a heavy workload as a consequence. Later that night, Baani talks to Rajat in front of everyone. Rajat informs her that he will be late coming home because of the extra work. In the meantime, Gaurav tries to get close to Shilpa in the kitchen, suggesting they ask Baani for a room for the night. Shilpa, however, refuses and walks away from the situation.
As the day progresses, Poonam, still anxious about the money they owe Balwant, questions Baani. Once again, Baani reassures her mother, insisting that she will manage to return the money. Aastha overhears their conversation and becomes determined to expose Baani’s secrets to the family. Later that night, when Rajat returns home, Bhishan questions him for coming home so late. Bebe, adding fuel to the fire, criticizes Baani for being the reason Rajat left his business. Rajat, standing by Baani, defends her and then goes inside, tired and weary. Baani feels guilty seeing Rajat in such a state and feeds him dinner before he retires to refresh himself.
The next day brings more challenges. Gini expresses her disappointment to Baani about not being able to wear branded clothes. She leaves for college with Softy, still unhappy. Poonam offers to accompany Baani to meet Balwant’s men and return the money. However, Baani firmly refuses, stating that she will handle the situation alone since she already has the money. Aastha, who has been eavesdropping, decides to catch Baani red-handed and expose her.
Rajat and Baani have a minor argument on their way to work, adding to the tension. Meanwhile, Gini refuses to go for a ride with Rohan after seeing Softy, instead choosing to leave with her. On another front, Baani is relieved to learn from Mannat that her health is improving. To celebrate, Mannat decides to buy Baani a dress, and they enter an expensive dress shop.
As Aastha is about to follow Baani, she is stopped by some clients who accuse her of causing their skin rashes. This unexpected situation forces Aastha to stay home, frustrated that she cannot follow through with her plan. Meanwhile, Baani faces another challenge when a dress she tries on in the shop gets torn, and she is forced to pay 9,000 rupees for it. Feeling helpless, she advises the shop staff before leaving with Mannat, who apologizes for the trouble. Poonam, learning about Baani’s predicament, grows more worried and demands that Rajat pick up Baani. Rajat, in turn, informs Lavanya about the situation, which drives her to a fit of anger.
Later, Baani gives an interest amount to Balwant’s men, who pressure her for the entire sum. Baani is left feeling trapped and helpless as she realizes the gravity of her situation. The episode ends with a preview showing Rajat stepping in to save Baani from Balwant’s men, followed by Balwant’s unexpected arrival at the Khanna society, which leaves Baani extremely nervous.
