All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said about the India block that there could not be unilateral love. He said, the people of Bihar should understand that the allegations made against us were based on lies. These allegations were made because they do not want any leader of poor and weaker sections to lead them political leadership. They want to keep the people of Bihar their slave. We will contest elections with full firmly. Our state president Akhtarul Iman has said that we should try to constitute the third front. This was an attempt from us. All this has come before the people of Bihar for some reason.

Regarding the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar, Owaisi said, the Election Commission does not have the right to fix citizenship. This right is with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Police Inspector of the border area. When there is no right, why is he doing this? I said this for this reason that it is ‘NRC from the back door’. Bihar has elections in November. Why do they want to weaken the people of Seemanchal?

Regarding SIR, Owaisi said, it is unfortunate that a constitutional body itself is not making a statement and information is coming out through ‘sources’. Who are these sutras? Who empowered the Election Commission to decide who is a citizen and who is not? Our party was the first to say that SIR is an attempt to implement NRC from the back door.

Owaisi said, we demand that the list of those BLOs (BLOs) be made public. We will ask our workers to meet the BLO and ask where are the people coming from Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh, who are being talked about. SIR was also done in the year 2003, then how many foreign nationals were revealed? In July 2019, the Law Minister in Parliament said that not a single foreign national was found in 2016, 2017 and 2019. These sutras are shameless. Why is the reputation of a constitutional institution being damaged?
