The new series ‘Mandla Murders’ on Netflix is a murder mystery, but it is not as usually seen. There is not only a crime in this, but an attempt has also been made to combine the truths related to old stories, superstitions, politics and system. Because of this, the story becomes a little different, however, in some places things become excessively, which reduces the effect slightly.

Story

The story begins with ‘Charandaspur’, a fictional village in Uttar Pradesh, where strange and scary murders start again after many years. The relationship of these murders connects with an old secret organization ‘Ayati Mandal’. The case is investigated by CID officer Riya Thomas (Vani Kapoor). His own past is also mysterious. Vikram Singh (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) is associated with Riya in this case, who is a suspended police officer.

He also has a personal relationship with this matter. The start of the series is strong. The first some episodes set suspense and set the atmosphere well. Villages, forests, darkness and silence among the people there, all of these together make the story mysterious. But gradually the grip of the story starts to loose. There are some parts that do not seem necessary and deviates the story.
