The issue of Kachhativu Island is once again in discussion. The reason for this is that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s appeal to PM Modi and retaliated by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The CM of the seaside state has appealed to Prime Minister Modi to directly intervene to resolve the long -standing Kachativu island dispute. These disputes can be resolved by doing so. Apart from this, Stalin has also called upon PM Modi to release Indian fishermen and seized boats in Sri Lanka.
