The team of Economic Offenses Unit Patna has taken major action in Gospur village of Parmanandpur Panchayat under Karjine police station area of Supaul district. The team has arrested the village youth Harshit Mishra. He is from a farmer family. He used to describe himself as a successful businessman of the stock market for the past few years. It is being told that this action is related to crores of fraud and cyber crime. However, the officials are avoiding speaking anything openly about this.

7 crore rupees came to the account

A team of officials, which came from 8 Scorpio, started raids at 2 pm on Saturday. In the action lasted for about 19 hours, several items including gadgets, hundreds of SIM cards, dozens of mobiles, laptops, biometric devices, note counting machines were seized from Harshit’s house. In the same inquiry, the mobile and laptop was also found from Harshit, which was connected to the bank account in which Rs 7 crore was deposited. This account was already freezed by the cyber police. On this basis, the team has taken action. In this action, about three dozen members of the EOU Patna team, Supaul SP and officers of Cyber Police Station were involved. During the action, the EOU and the local police refused to say anything to the media. After the inquiry and paperwork, Harshit was taken to Patna. Regarding this, Karzain Police Station Lalji Prasad said that the matter is of the economic unit. Earlier, no criminal history of his police is recorded in this police station.
