Sony has announced an exciting update for the PlayStation 5, which will allow users to join Discord voice chats directly from their consoles. To use Discord on the PS5, players need to link their Discord and PlayStation Network accounts. Once linked, players can start a voice chat using the Discord app on their mobile device or computer and continue the conversation on their PS5. In addition to Discord voice chat, the update includes several other improvements. One major enhancement is the support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) at 1440p resolution. Another notable feature is the ability to manually upload game captures to the PlayStation App. Players can select specific screenshots or video clips to share on social media or with friends, adding more flexibility to how they share their gaming moments.
