After Solo Leveling ended the second season and there are no signs of another season, fans have to be prepared for a long waiting time. Solo leveling producer Attsushi Kaneko already announced that the popular anime series for the first time was “over”.
Until the announcement of a possible third season, fans do not only have to sit there and do thumbs, because there is a handful of alternative power fantasy anime that could at least temporarily close the gap that leaves the solo leveling.

What is it about? Overlord plays in 2126, where the large and successful MMORPG Yggdrasil is switched off after 12 years. The passionate player “Momonga” and a member of the apparently strongest guild “Ainz Ool Gown” decides to stay logged in until the game is switched off.
When the moment of shutdown comes, he has to find that he suddenly can no longer log out and that the NPCs around him have developed free will. To find out what actually happened and whether there are other players in Yggdrasil, Momonga sets off with his new alias “Ainz Ool Gown”, accompanied by the guild’s NPCs.
Strangely enough, Momonga does not notice that since the event his humanity has also been affected and that he, for example, has no inhibitions in killing.

What is it about? Minoru Kageno has organized all his life to become the “shadow eminence”: a masterful genius that acts out of the shadow and otherwise hardly noticed in life. While he works hard on his role and steals his body for it, there is a serious accident and he is run over by a truck.
After his death, he was born as a Cid Kagenou into another world in which there is magic. After his reincarnation, he decides to maintain the appearance of an average and inconspicuous young man.
However, he works on his sword skills and his magic behind the scenes to get closer to his dream as a “shadow eminence”. He frees a cursed elf by chance, which is faithful to him afterwards and founds the organization “Shadow Garden” with it – albeit unintentionally.
