
Ayushman Yojana in Delhi
There is a big khukbari for Delhiites. The Ayushman Bharat scheme will be implemented in Delhi from today. The MoU will be signed today between the National Health Authority of the Government of India and the State Health Authority of the Government of Delhi. The health insurance cover of Ayushman Bharat Scheme in Delhi has been increased to 10 lakhs. Out of this, the Delhi government will bear the cost of Rs 5 lakh.
Delhi will become 35th state
Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the Delhi government and the National Health Authority, which is the nodal agency responsible for implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme across the country. With this step, Delhi will become a 35th state or union territory to adopt this scheme, which provides free health coverage of millions to the financially weaker sections of the society.
JP Nadda and CM Rekha Gupta will be included
According to a government release, the Saturday program will include Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Health Minister JP Nadda. On Friday, Chief Minister Gupta held a cabinet meeting on the implementation of the scheme.
Free treatment up to 10 lakhs
After the meeting, CM Rekha Gupta said, ‘Under this agreement, millions of families of Delhi will get health benefits of up to Rs 5 lakh from the central government. Apart from this, the Delhi government will also give an additional top-up of Rs 5 lakh. That is, a total of 10 lakhs can be treated. The state and central government will work together for effective implementation of the scheme. Along with this, he said that a special campaign will also be launched to connect the people of Delhi with this initiative.
