According to the flood bulletin issued by the Central Water Commission on Tuesday, the water level of the Ganges was recorded at 68.42 meters at eight in the morning. The water level was increasing at a speed of four centimeters per hour. Whereas in the afternoon, the water level increased at a speed of two centimeters per hour. The water level of the Ganges was recorded at 68.70 meters at seven in the evening, which is 1.56 meters below the warning point 70.26 meters. Water reached the platform of morning-e-Banaras at Assi Ghat.
