US Minister poses in front of a notorious major prison

US Minister of Homeland Protection Kristi Noem has warned irregular migrants to make their way to the USA. Noem visited a notorious major prison in El Salvador.
U.S. Minister of Homeland Kristi Noem warned irregular migrants during a visit to El Salvador to make their way to the USA-and posed in front of a notorious prison. “Don’t come to our country illegally. They are being proven and persecuted,” said Noem when visiting the major prison in the Central American country, where Venezolan migrants were brought out of the USA.
“You should know that this facility is one of the instruments in our toolbox that we will use when you commit crimes against the American people,” warned Noem with a view to the prison, while prison inmates were seen in the background behind bars.
El Salvador is the first stop from Noem’s trip to Central and South America. After a meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, the minister also wanted to continue traveling to Colombia and Mexico. In the run -up to her trip to El Salvador, Noem had stated that the deportations of the Venezuelans had “sent the message to the world that the United States was not a safe retreat for violent criminals”.
US President Donald Trump has made the fight against irregular migration and the subject of secure limits to focus on his presidency. His government had recently deported more than 200 Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador for detention and partially used a law adopted in 1798 against “foreign enemies”. The US government accused the Venezuelans of being a member of the Venezuelan drug gang “Tren de Aragua”. Relatives and the Venezuelan government, on the other hand, spoke of innocent migrants.
On Wednesday, however, a US Court of Appeal confirmed the stop of deportation flights ordered by a federal judge based on the law. The Federal Court of Association of Washington rejected an application from the government to lift the deportation stop.
Judge Patricia Millett criticized that the government deported migrants from Venezuela without notice and without hearing and did not give them the opportunity to prove that they were not gang members. The Federal Republic judge warned if the government gave up the rule of law for some people, “then she can do the same for everyone”.
A federal judge had prohibited deportation fees based on the so -called “Alien Enemies Act” from 1798. The White House subsequently argued that the planes were already in the air at the time of the judicial order. The migrants were taken to the major prison in El Salvador.
