Government gave exemption
It is worth noting that recently, the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission had empowered power companies under the Multi -Year Tariff Regulation 2025 every month to fix Fuel and Power Adjustment surcharge. Under this right, UPPCL has issued an order to recover fuel surcharge from consumers for the first time.
However, it was opposed by the Electricity Consumer Council. He said that consumers have Rs 33122 crore on UPPCL and the company is increasing without returning money. We will strongly oppose it.
