Earlier in the day, Renuka informs the family that Kusum’s daughter is coming over to see Akash, as part of the wedding preparations. However, Akash expresses his disinterest in the arrangement, much to Renuka’s displeasure. She insists that Akash meet Kusum’s daughter, emphasizing the financial status of her family, which is similar to that of Roshini’s. This sparks concern in Tejas, who fears that if Akash marries into another wealthy family, his and Roshini’s importance in the house may diminish. He voices his opinion that Akash, being a cook, might not be accepted by such a well-off family and suggests finding a middle-class match for him instead.
The conversation turns tense as Sachin scolds Tejas for belittling Akash because of his profession. He points out that cooking is not an easy task and deserves respect. Renuka intervenes, asking Sachin to calm down, but she continues to pressure Akash to stay and meet Kusum’s daughter.
Sachin, protective of his family’s honor, agrees with Renuka and tells Akash to meet them. The conversation shifts to Renuka’s excitement about meeting her college friend, Kusum, and she asks Shakku why she didn’t come earlier to help with the arrangements. Shakku replies that she thought Sayali would assist Renuka, leading Renuka to complain about Sayali’s lack of help.
Renuka calls Sayali over and questions her about completing the tasks she was assigned. Sayali confirms that she has done her part but is warned by Renuka to stay silent in front of Kusum’s family. Renuka further scolds her for failing to send Sachin out of the house, to which Sayali replies that Sachin is not listening to her and suggests that Renuka should handle it herself. Frustrated, Sayali retreats to the kitchen to prepare food, while Renuka vents her anger to Shakku, declaring that she will teach Sayali a lesson once Kusum leaves.
Shakku then inquires if Renuka has discussed Kusum’s daughter’s marriage proposal with Akash. Renuka responds that she plans to secure Akash’s marriage before any complications arise and firmly states that she will not allow Sayali’s sister to enter their home.
The episode ends on a tense note, with Sayali tying a rakhi to Dilip, symbolizing the bond between siblings. Meanwhile, Renuka hatches another plan, telling Shakku that she will make Juhi, another family member, tie a rakhi to Akash. Sayali, overhearing this, asks Juhi to leave, but Juhi insists that she must tie the rakhi. Renuka watches with a smug expression, clearly pleased with the unfolding drama.
