Sometimes Marlene and her father get the box with the fishing technology from their closet in the hallway. The father played with the gray, yellow and black plastic parts as a child and put them together into cranes, cars and robots. The 10-year-old Marlene prefers to build marble runs today-and even set up a world record with the parts a year ago. With 129 other primary school children from Karlsruhe, she built the longest ball extendant in the world. It was 68.60 meters long, and a table tennis ball had to walk all over the train.
