When shooting “dying for beginners”, Olivia Jones and Steffen Hallaschka come into contact with death. A situation finally led to the dropout.
Cologne – Olivia Jones (55) and Steffen Hallaschka (53) devote themselves to death in the documentary “Die for beginners”. The show was published by the show in 2023 on RTL+, now the second season started on April 9th. But although the moderator in the row was already faced with a lot, Jones was one thing too much. As a result, the shoot had to be canceled.

For her it was her first dropout, Jones explained in an Instagram video. “I just couldn’t do it anymore,” she says literally. Together with the crime scene cleaner Thomas Kundt, she and Hallaschka visited a Messie house as part of their show. The jungle camp, on the other hand, was a perfumery, says Jones.
The situation moved the drag queen very much. “There was such an primeval anxiety, so lonely and abandoned to die,” she said. In particular, she met fate behind it. As Hallaschka threw in at the end, the second season of the documentary series begins with this story.
