“The super talent”
Rülps alarm, clown fun and courage from Mexico

By Kai Butterweck

If daring acrobatics meets borderline stupid art and a gold buzz can turn the whole life upside down, the prime time connoisseur knows what the hour has beaten: Welcome to “Das Supertalent 2025”!

The stage lighting has not yet been switched on, so the Cologne studio audience is already in front of the seats according to applauding. Internet star Jens “Knossi” Knossala can hardly wait. “I think it’s time to escalate!”, The format colleague from Victoria Swarovski joys into the microphone. And then it finally starts, the big show of the new super talent. The four jurors (Dieter Bohlen, Bruce Darnell, Ekaterina Leonova and newcomer Tony Bauer are quickly introduced) and then Mr. Bartholomäus Daniel Seydlitz Aka “Kash-Kaiser” is also stuck on stage.

The trained motivational coach presents itself as an optical mixture from Dieter Bohlen and Heino. He brought his Ballermann eurodance bang “You are my super talent!”. Unfortunately, nobody wants to hear it. The receipt is four times no. The “Kash emperor” has finished. Right at the beginning of the new “Das Supertalent” relay, the director confronts the viewer with one of the two format extras. If you get nothing or very little on your feet, you can sometimes be just as entertaining as an impressive top act. In the case of “Kash-Kaiser”, the “Thank you for nothing!”-enthusiasm but within limits.

Kimberly “Kimycola” Winter from Maryland has a few more laughs on her side. The American traveled especially to demonstrate her extraordinary Rülps skills. Bruce Darnell is not really amused: “That was totaly cheese!”, The juror nags. In addition to two other Klamauk numbers (American Ryan Simpson maltreates his accordion and Daniela Kennedy from Vienna as a trouble-promoting comedian (“Servus, I am Kennedy!”), There are also minimalist clown art on the big show stage.

Viggo Venn from Norway, the winner of the 16th “Britain’s Got Talent” relay, shows the competition how you can achieve a lot. A charming permanent smile, a Dr.-emot-brown memorial and a dozen security vests: Viggo Venn doesn’t need more to ensure that Poptitan Bohlen jumps off his seat and presses the golden buzzer.

Bruce Darnell makes the “Lucky Kids” happy

It is not the only time that a lot of gold confetti trickles from the ceiling that evening. Even after the energetic appearance of the “Lucky Kids” from Cologne, a juror cannot hold back. This time it is Bruce Darnell who “presents” a premature final ticket and thus ensures great jubilation in the studio and on stage. Other super talent candidates also transform the television studio into a cheering rabid with its appearances. No matter whether breathtaking juggling (format returnor “Messoudi Brothers”), dark magic from Slovenia (“Forest of Haunts”) or soulful pop singing (Jayden Swingewood): The spectators and the jury are visible and audibly grateful for every exception.

But someone has to overdo it again. Not only those present on site, but also the viewer at home is shocked by the breath when the Mexican stunt artist Alan Portugal decides to just fall backwards from a six-meter-high ladder, in order to then switch to the flick flack mode on the floor and to do it at the end of the whole as if it were the most normal in the world. One does not want to imagine which number the daring Mexican probably conjures up for his semi-final appearance. There are crazy people …

RTL shows whether everything goes well with Alan Portugal’s Stunts and what talents still has to offer “the super talent”. All episodes of the casting show are also a week before broadcast In stream on RTL+ ready.
