Tajikistani singer and social media influencer Abdu Rosik was arrested on Saturday for theft at Dubai International Airport. The Management Company of Rosik informed the Khaleej Times.

Dubai arrived from Montenegro at five in the morning
According to the report, Rosik was taken into custody by officials immediately after reaching Dubai from Montenegro at around 5 am. However, the complaint has not been made entirely public yet and the authorities have not issued any official statement.

Gained popularity through Bigg Boss 16 and music
A representative of the company said, “We can just say that we know that he has been detained on charges of theft.” However, he refused to give more information. Rosik gained popularity through Bigg Boss 16 and his music. His songs Ohi Dili Jor, Chakki Chaki Boron and Modar are quite famous.

Investigation in the investigation of money laundering case which has also done ED
In 2022, Abdu Rosik was invited to the 22nd IIFA Awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Here he sang the Hindi song ‘Ek Girl Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ from the 1994 film ‘1942: A Love Story’. According to the Khaleej Times, in 2024, India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) also questioned Rosek in an inquiry into the case of money laundering related to a hospitality firm. However, the ED did not make him an accused.
