The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it would set up a bench that would hear the petition of Justice Yashwant Verma in which he has challenged the report of the internal inquiry committee, in which he was commented in the case of getting cash at his residence. This case is today Chief Justice (CJI) BR Gawai, Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Justice Jayamalya Bagchi were raised before the bench.
Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, Mukul Rohatgi, Rakesh Dwivedi, Siddharth Luthra, Siddharth Aggarwal and Advocate George Potan Puthikote, Manisha Singh and others appeared on behalf of other people. He said, we have filed a petition on behalf of the Allahabad High Court judge. This includes some constitutional issues. I request that a bench be set up as soon as possible. The CJI said in response that it would not be appropriate for them to take this matter. After this he said, we will consider this and create a suitable bench.

Supreme Court ready for hearing petition for illegal construction in Satkosia Tiger Reserve
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition filed for alleged illegal construction in the Satkosia Tiger Reserve of Odisha. Advocate Gaurav Kumar Bansal filed a petition in front of the bench of Chief Justice BR Gawai (CJI), Justice KV Vishwanathan and Justice Jayamalya Bagchi and urged and urged that hearing on the matter is necessary. The Satkosia Tiger Reserve is spread over Angul, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Buddhist districts of Odisha. It is an important natural habitat for tigers, elephants and many threatened species.
