On August 8th, 2024, the latest episode of “Suhaagan” unfolded with intriguing twists. The episode begins with Vedant feeding medicines to Swara. Swara, in a bid to make Dhwani jealous, rests her head on Vedant’s shoulder and claims she feels better. Dhwani and Koyel observe this scene, clearly becoming envious. The next morning, Swara speaks to herself, acknowledging that Vedant doesn’t love her, but her love will suffice for both of them. She decides to fast for him during the Teej puja. As he sleeps, she respectfully touches his feet to seek his blessings.
Vedant wakes up, confused about Swara’s actions. She explains that she didn’t mean to disturb him but sought his blessings for the Teej vrat. Vedant, however, dismisses the significance of their marriage and questions her sanity, given that she was only discharged from the hospital two days prior. Swara remains resolute, insisting that their marriage is real, even if Vedant doesn’t believe in it, and vows to keep them together for the next seven lives. Prabha visits Vedant’s house secretly, blessing Swara and giving her a shagun.
Later that evening, Vedant checks on Naina’s well-being. Naina assures him that she is fine and happy as long as he is with Swara. She mentions that Shlok pays attention to little things and continually makes her happy. She inquires about Vedant’s state, to which he responds affirmatively. Swara joins them, praising Vedant and stating that while Shlok is a good brother, Vedant is also commendable despite his occasional rude behavior.
Indu begins mocking Swara, questioning why she talks so much at her in-laws’ place. She suggests that Swara was better off silent as she is now at risk of tarnishing their image. Baldev defends Swara, stating that she could never do such a thing and will always make them proud.
