Shots at a wedding in Fürth: A man is seriously injured and later dies in the hospital. The police search for two vehicles with a French license plate.
At a wedding celebration with hundreds of guests in Fürth in Middle Franconia, a man was injured by shots. As the Middle Franconia police announced on X around 8.30 p.m., the man later died in the hospital. The police are in action at the crime scene with a large contingent and a helicopter. The area is cordoned off. As “Bild” reports, a man is said to have shot into the crowd.
Other victims were initially not known, as a spokesman for the Middle Franconia police headquarters said.
As the police continued, two vehicles fleeed the crime scene shortly after the crime. The search is currently running after a gray Skoda Octavia and a white Mercedes-Benz GLE, each with French license plates.
