But surprisingly, the minister, who has the responsibility of lighting the entire state on the department, had to give a speech in the middle of the city in his home district itself. Power failed for hours on the entire dam road including Hanuman Ghat, the most important area of ​​the city and the reply of the Electricity Department was also absent. After this incident, four officials of the electricity department have fallen.

It is worth noting that from 25 to 27 March, programs are being organized in Mau for the performance of government schemes and promotion of achievements. On the first day, in -charge minister Girish Chandra Yadav and Panchayati Raj Minister Omprakash Rajbhar participated in the program on the second day. When the minister of home district Arvind Sharma arrived to attend the third day program, the negligence of the electricity department hurt the image of the government.

BJP workers expressed displeasure

There is also resentment among BJP workers about the incident. He says that Mau officials are plotting to tarnish the clean image of the minister. Many activists have also demanded action against the officials of the Energy Department.

At the same time, strict action has been taken in the matter of disrupting power supply in the public meeting of the Energy Minister. Hanuman Ghat-Hanikeshpura TCI turned to a standstill during the public meeting held at TCI Mor, causing an uncomfortable situation in the program.

Taking the incident seriously, the department has taken action against four officers-

  • Sanjay Vaishya (S) – Explanation has been sought from Superintending Engineer.
  • Bhuvanraj Singh (EE) – Charge sheet has been issued to Executive Engineer.
  • Prakash Singh (SDO) – Subdivision Officer has been suspended.
  • O.P. Khuswaha (JE) – Under Engineer is also suspended.

The government has clarified that no reduction in respect of public representatives and public will be tolerated. Strict instructions have been given to the Department of Energy to ensure that such negligence is not done again. The investigation of the case is going on and further action can be taken against the culprits.
