The basti people echoed her sentiments, asking for Lord Shiva’s return as they sang a heartfelt prayer. Determined, Mumba headed towards the ocean with the shivling. However, upon entering the basti, Sardar questioned her actions. Mumba, with conviction, explained that they were eagerly awaiting Lord Shiva’s return, yet paradoxically sending the shivling away. She urged them not to stop her, invoking Lord Shiva’s promise. Before leaving, she advised Sardar to tend to Sardaran’s wounds. Meanwhile, Jalandhar and the asurs were on the hunt for Lord Shiva.
As Mumba moved through the basti, she wondered about Babul’s whereabouts, needing his assistance. Just then, Babul appeared, informing her about the Vaithyanath Jyotirling. He asked what they should do with it, and Mumba responded that the shivling should be placed in its rightful position. Babul, deeply moved, recalled how Mumba had discovered the shivling when she first opened her eyes in the ocean, which he believed signified their love for each other. Mumba, dismissing his romantic notions, urged him to focus on helping her.
Together, they carried the shivling, with the title song playing in the background. Babul, unable to take his eyes off Mumba, eventually pointed out a place he believed was ideal for placing the Vaithyanath Jyotirling. However, Mumba noticed that the place was dirty and chided Babul for his ignorance, stating that a shivling could not be placed in an unclean area. She ordered him to clean it, and when he hesitated, she decided to do it herself. Just as she wondered where to begin, Babul used his powers to clean the place, transforming it into a neat and beautiful area. Mumba smiled with satisfaction as they finally placed the Vaithyanath Jyotirling in its sacred spot, which then began to emit a divine glow.
Mumba then proceeded to decorate the shivling, with the song “Om Namah Shivaya” playing softly in the background. As she adorned the shivling, Babul was reminded of how Mata Parvati had once done the same. Sensing his gaze, Mumba instructed him to focus on the shivling and not on her. She then sent him to fetch Ganga water, and while he was gone, she began singing the “Karpurgauran” song, a melody that stirred deep emotions. Jalandhar, upon hearing the song, was filled with anger, while Lord Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi smiled, clearly pleased by Mumba’s devotion.
