The Food and Drug Administration has suspended the license of Ajanta Cater, a company running AIR MLA canteen. Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad beat up a canteen employee and accused them of poor food quality. After the video of the case went viral, Sanjay Gaikwad came under target of the opposition. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also condemned the act of Shiv Sena MLA.
Meanwhile, on slapping the canteen staff, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad said, ‘I will not apologize. Whatever CM and Deputy CM said is their duty. I respect his words, but he also said that the hotel should be tested. I have no regrets. I was the one who eaten poison (in terms of contaminated food). Other people cannot understand this, so I have no regrets on my actions.
‘When someone feeds me poison, will I worship him’
Talking to the media, Sanjay Gaikwad said, ‘When someone feeds me, will I worship him. Bala Saheb Thackeray has not taught me this. Bala Saheb Thackeray has taught us that if someone wants to dominate you, do not leave it. So the reaction of mine was right.

The Shiv Sena leader also responded to Sanjay Raut’s remarks on the issue. He reminded Sanjay Raut a 10 -year -old Rajan Vicha case. Sanjay Gaikwad said, ’10 years ago a waiter in Delhi served food to Rajan Vichade. That food was not good, so they put bread in the mouth of that waiter and killed him. Where did Sanjay Raut go? ‘

Responding to the Assembly, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “MLA Sanjay Gaikwad’s behavior is unfair and this creates a negative perception about all the MLAs among the public.”
Samples sent for examination in the laboratory of the department at Bandra
Earlier, the FDA had collected food samples from the canteen of the MLA hostel and sent them for examination. FDA officials reached the hostel on Wednesday afternoon and sealed food samples. It was sent to the laboratory of the department at Bandra for investigation. A source close to FDA Minister Narhari Jirwal said, “The food samples collected from the canteen have been sent for analysis. According to the process, the report is expected to come within 16 days and further action will be decided on the basis of it.
