Tourists can regularly with the ship of Bremerhaven Travel to Helgoland. “The” mini cruise “to Helgoland can be combined excellently with a weekend trip in Bremerhaven,” said a spokesman for the Bremerhaven Tourist Information Experience. By the end of October, the ship will take a course to the island in the middle of the North Sea.
The “Fair Lady” always takes off in Bremerhaven on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9.30 a.m., as the shipping company Cassen Eils announced. After 180 minutes of driving, up to 799 passengers reach the island. It goes back at 4 p.m. On other days of the week, the ship drives from Wilhelmshaven and Hooksiel as well as sometimes from the island of Langeoog.
Most recently the ship was between Bremerhaven and Helgoland on the way. “Then came the pandemic, then personnel were subsequently missing to fill all ships,” said Bremerhaven’s spokesman. In the past year, a catamaran was used on selected dates. The shipping company now hopes to be able to build on around 60,000 passengers per year in earlier times.
