A 40-tonner crashed into a shut-off vehicle on Thursday evening on the A2 motorway in the Werder triangle. The grumbling driver was caught.

A serious traffic accident on the A2 in the area of the Werder motorway triangle led to hours of closure in the night of Friday. As a reporter reports on site, a 40-ton truck apparently drove almost unchecked into a shut-off vehicle of the motorway master, which secured a breakdown.

The driver of the Polish tractor -trailer was seriously injured in the impact and trapped in his cab. According to initial findings, the Autobahnmeisterei had set up a locking board on the hard shoulder to secure a car transporter that was left behind.

The approaching tractor -trailer apparently overlooked the coverage and crashed into the safety trailer with full force. Due to the impact, the driver’s cabin of the tractor -trailer was pushed under the truck of the motorway master.
