In the same week, PUBG Mobile also removed 944 online cheat advertisements that collectively had 800,126 followers and views. This highlights their commitment to addressing cheating not only within the game but also across platforms where cheats are promoted.

PUBG Mobile’s anti-cheat measures have evolved significantly over time. In 2022, the game introduced the Ban Pan 2.0 system, which brought several advanced features to combat cheating. These included the Fog of War anti-cheat system, an improved AI for detecting suspicious behavior, the Eagle Review system for manual reviews, and a more user-friendly interface for reporting cheaters.

The Fog of War system specifically targets cheats that provide players with x-ray vision, by ensuring only data within a player’s visible range is sent to their device. This system prevents any third-party software from accessing information outside the player’s immediate vicinity, effectively curbing cheats that allow players to see through walls.

The Ban Pan 2.0 update also improved the game’s AI, which now uses machine learning to automatically review and penalize players exhibiting suspicious behavior. The Eagle Review system involves senior investigators who review flagged gameplay in real-time, ensuring accurate penalties are applied. This comprehensive approach aims to eliminate cheaters swiftly and maintain game integrity.

Cheating in PUBG Mobile has been a persistent issue, with developers regularly updating their systems to stay ahead of cheaters. The introduction of device bans means that not only are cheating accounts banned, but the devices used are also blacklisted, preventing repeat offenses from the same hardware. This measure significantly raises the stakes for cheaters, deterring them from attempting to bypass bans.

Player feedback and reports play a crucial role in this system. When players suspect someone of cheating, they can report them through the game’s interface. The Ban Pan team then manually reviews these reports, ensuring that only genuine cases of cheating result in bans.

Overall, these robust anti-cheat measures reflect PUBG Mobile’s dedication to providing a fair and competitive gaming experience. The significant number of bans in just one week underscores the ongoing battle against cheaters and the game’s commitment to maintaining a level playing field for all its players.
