To guarantee an equitable and transparent allocation of resources, a logistic traceability system was established that is allowing to efficiently manage donations made to Interior designers in action.
The project has been coordinated from a 12,000 m² pavilion at Valencia Fairwhich has served as a logistics center for the reception and distribution of 1,760,000 euros in materials and furniture, directly from factories and companies, and 172,000 euros in cash donations.
Throughout their development, more than 9,000 requests for helpmanaging directly benefiting more than 900 families (some 2,700 people) with the delivery of these essential resources.
In the Project execution works an operational team composed of 10 people on staff, which has had the collaboration of the Ume and the Earth Armywith the mobilization of up to 70 soldiers and 5 trucks for transport logistics. And the participation of more than 2,000 collaborators of the sectorincluding interior designers, architects, decorators and a thousand civil volunteers.
