For instance, if a user shares a menu in a different language and asks GPT-4o to translate it, the model will not only translate the text but also provide detailed information about the dishes. This feature is particularly useful for users who frequently interact with content in different languages. ChatGPT now supports over 50 Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, and Tamil. The new model can also easily interpret charts, making it a versatile tool for various applications.

OpenAI plans to roll out GPT-4o gradually, ensuring that all users will have access to it within the next few weeks. GPT-4o offers a significantly improved developer API for both personal and professional use. Users will find it twice as fast as the previous versions. Before the launch of GPT-4o, there were rumors that the company was planning to launch its own AI search engine to compete with Google and Perplexity. The rumored search engine was supposedly named ChatGPT-5. However, the company has not yet provided any official information regarding the launch of a search engine. It’s worth noting that Google’s I/O event is happening today, where the tech giant could make several major announcements.
