India has launched its first indigenous generative AI platform, Hanooman AI, which can be used in various forms, from websites to apps. This tool offers text-based features and is currently in the alpha stage.

The tool, named ‘Hanooman’, is India’s first indigenous AI-based generative AI tool, launched by 3AI Holding Limited and Seetha Mahalaxmi Healthcare (SML) India. This multilingual AI tool was showcased at an event in Mumbai on February 21. It’s worth noting that this is India’s first indigenous generative AI platform, supporting 98 global languages, including 12 Indian languages.

The AI platform announced its launch by posting on its official handle on the microblogging platform X. The tool can understand and communicate in nearly 98 languages. In addition, Hanooman can create different types of content. With its help, you can write everything from poems to code and scripts.

Like other generative AI tools, Hanooman can also answer your questions, converse with you, and respond according to your request. Hanooman can also write code, translate multiple languages, and perform various technical tasks. Currently, it has been released in alpha mode, so it’s not perfect yet.

How to Access the Tool for Free

Hanooman is currently completely free for all users. However, the company plans to launch a premium version in the coming days, for which users will have to pay a membership fee. The company has launched it in the form of a web client as well as an Android app. After creating an account, users can start text-based conversations with it and start using it.

Aiming to Reach 200 Million Users

Hanooman aims to reach nearly 200 million users within a year. Along with this, the company aims to prepare a framework for generative AI in India and promote AI in the country. It’s worth mentioning that Hanooman has the support of major tech companies like HP, NASSCOM, and Yotta. It can be used in various sectors, from education to health services and customer support.
