“Gori: Cuddly Carnage” is a vibrant, action-packed game that combines hack-and-slash gameplay with skateboarding elements. Players will control Gori, a cute but fierce cat, who rides a hoverboard named F.R.A.N.K. Together with their sad AI companion CH1-P, they battle against the Adorable Army—a horde of bloodthirsty unicorns and twisted toys led by the evil Pinky. This unique blend of dark humor and intense action promises to redefine the 90s platformer for a modern audience.
The game was revealed during Wired Direct 2024, where developers shared their vision of creating an “action-driven, fun” experience. They described “Gori: Cuddly Carnage” as “baby’s first hack and slash,” emphasizing the game’s commitment to fun and excitement. In “Gori: Cuddly Carnage,” players will navigate through various environments, including neon-drenched city streets, toxic toy factories, and twisted carnivals.
