On receiving the information of the accident, DM Abhishek Pandey and SP Gyananjay Singh and other administrative officials reached the spot and started relief work. The minister and his driver were investigated in the hospital. Physicians reported that the situation is normal and both are out of danger.

The car of Uttar Pradesh’s Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi went to Bijnor from Delhi and fell victim to an accident at the flyover near the Chhejarasi police post in Pilkhuwa, Hapur. Minister Gulab Devi was going to Bijnor to participate in an event. There has been a slight scratch in his forehead in the accident. While his driver Satveer has an injury to his hand. Two other cars including escorts included in the convoy have also been damaged. The accident occurred due to the sudden stop of cars running forward. Police are interrogating the drivers in custody.
