Back at home, Adit continues to scold Mangal for not taking better care of Ishana, but Kusum defends Mangal. When Ishana returns, Mangal questions her about her whereabouts. Ishana lies about working on a project at Sneha’s house. Mangal, skeptical, asks to see the project, but Ishana dismisses her, saying she wouldn’t understand. Adit insists on seeing the project and, upon inspecting the notebook, realizes Ishana lied. Angrily, he drags her out for ice cream.

Later, Adit returns home alone. Mangal asks about Ishana, and Adit reveals he has enrolled her in a hostel. This shocks Mangal and Kusum, who question his decision. Adit justifies his actions by saying Ishana has been lying and losing focus on her studies. Mangal pleads for another chance for Ishana, but Adit refuses and orders Mangal to pack Ishana’s things. Mangal insists Adit’s decision is wrong and begs him to bring Ishana back home.
At this moment, Adit receives a call from Sowmya. She informs him that an important project file has been deleted, erasing ten days of work, and asks him to meet at a coffee shop to redo the project for an upcoming meeting. Despite Mangal’s attempt to stop him, Adit leaves, citing an emergency.
At the cafe, Adit is surprised to find that Sowmya lied about the project to get him there. She reveals her parents are inside, waiting to meet him. Adit is annoyed but goes along. Meanwhile, Mangal tries to contact Ishana at the hostel but is denied due to hostel rules. She is reassured when told Ishana is doing well. Akshat, in tears, tells Mangal he doesn’t want to join the hostel.
Back at the cafe, Sowmya urges Adit to meet her parents. Adit expresses his frustration, saying it’s not a joke. Shalini appears, questioning Sowmya’s presence, assuming she had left. Sowmya introduces Adit to her parents, and Shalini comments on how good they look together.
