On August 5th, 2024, the episode of Mangal Lakshmi begins with Mangal telling Kusum that they should start with the swing ritual. Kusum agrees, and everyone in Adit’s family, along with their relatives, begins to dance to a song. Meanwhile, Sowmya, taking advantage of the distraction, partially cuts the rope of the swing.
Lipika expresses her desire to sit on the swing, but Sowmya stops her. Instead, Sowmya persuades Mangal to sit on the swing. As Mangal sits, Adit starts swinging her. After a while, Mangal gets off the swing, but Sowmya, seeing an opportunity, kicks a flower ball towards her. Mangal steps on the flower ball, slips, and falls to the floor. The swing then falls on her feet, injuring her.
Adit’s family becomes worried, and Karthik immediately calls for a doctor. Sanjana calls Lakshmi to inform her about Mangal’s injury, which causes Lakshmi to worry as well. When the doctor arrives, he treats Mangal and suggests taking her to the hospital. Adit and Karthik take Mangal to the hospital as the family, especially Shanti, remains anxious.
Karthik returns with Mangal in a wheelchair and informs everyone that the doctor has advised Mangal to rest. As Gayatri notices Lakshmi entering Adit’s house, she confronts her. Gayatri asks why Lakshmi is there, and Lakshmi explains that she is concerned about Mangal. Gayatri assures her that Mangal is fine and asks her to leave.
Shanti is deeply upset seeing Mangal’s condition. Kusum comforts Shanti, telling her that they need to support Mangal. Mangal, however, is worried about Ishana’s upcoming dance competition. Kusum tries to reassure Mangal that she will recover in two days, but Karthik contradicts her, stating that the doctor recommended two weeks of rest. Adit tells Mangal to give up on her dance dream for now, which makes Mangal apologize to Ishana. Ishana accepts the situation and hugs her.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi pleads with Gayatri to let her see Mangal. Gayatri refuses initially, but Lakshmi kneels and continues to request. Karthik intervenes, helping Lakshmi to stand and then takes her to meet Mangal, postponing the conversation with Gayatri.
Sowmya takes Ishana aside and tells her that she didn’t want to dance with Mangal and believes God has granted her wish. She encourages Ishana to express her desire to dance with her instead. Ishana is left feeling worried.
When Lakshmi meets Mangal, she is happy to see that Lakshmi’s rashes have healed. Lakshmi asks how Mangal got injured. Adit dismissively says it was due to Mangal’s own mistake. Lakshmi inspects the swing’s rope and discovers it has been cut. She points this out to everyone, but Mangal downplays it, saying they prepared it themselves and asks Lakshmi to drop the matter.
Despite the tension, Mangal insists that since Lakshmi is there, they should proceed with Lakshmi and Karthik’s Teej ritual. Kusum agrees, but Lakshmi feels uneasy seeing Gayatri’s anger.
The episode ends with a lot of unresolved issues and emotional turmoil within the family.
