On August 8, 2024, the episode of “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” begins with Rannvijay having a heartfelt conversation with Vaijju. He tells her that he has tried to distance himself from her and their complicated relationship, but now he is relying on her. Vaijju looks at him with concern as he appears visibly upset. Shortly after, Vasundhara and the rest of the family arrive to check on Vaijju. Vasundhara asks about her health, and Vaijju reassures her that she is fine.
During this visit, Jaya and Rannvijay share a hug, which Vaijju observes. Vaijju informs the family that Rannvijay saved her, prompting Sulekha to comment. Vasundhara criticizes Jaikant’s irresponsible actions, which led to Vaijju’s predicament. Jaikant tries to defend himself, but Rannvijay reprimands him. Sulekha argues with Rannvijay, and Nagaraj supports him. Jaya calms everyone down, stating that Vaijju is now safe and thanks her for saving Rannvijay.
Jaya notices Rannvijay’s injury and insists he should rest at home, but he assures her he is fine. The entire family insists he goes home to rest. Vasundhara promises to take care of Vaijju, and Jaya takes Rannvijay home. Later, Jaya scolds Rannvijay for risking his life and expresses her fear of losing both him and Vaijju. The next day, Jaya and other family members visit Vaijju at the hospital. They become worried when they do not find her in her room and inquire with a nurse. The nurse informs them that Vaijju has been acting like a doctor, which confuses everyone. They follow the nurse and find Vaijju making herbal medicines. Vaijju praises the herbal remedies over English medicines and refuses to return to her room despite the doctor’s request. Rannvijay’s family arrives and lovingly scolds Vaijju for not resting properly. She reluctantly agrees to rest.
Meanwhile, Rannvijay is praised by his colleagues for resolving issues at work. He remembers Vaijju’s help and decides to find a way to keep her close forever. At the hospital, Jaya and her mother discuss Vaijju. Jaya goes to check on Vaijju’s hospital bill after being requested to sign it by the staff. Rannvijay meets Vaijju and scolds her for not resting, taking care of her despite her refusal. Jaya’s mother witnesses this from outside.
Jaya is shocked when she sees Rannvijay’s signature as Vaijju’s husband in her hospital file. She leaves with her mother, and Sulekha, who also discovers this, seems pleased. Rannvijay and Vaijju share a meal, and Vaijju is surprised by his behavior. Jaya and her mother arrive, and Jaya questions Rannvijay about his visit. He provides an excuse, and Vaijju reassures her mother that she is fine but avoids looking at Rannvijay.
