On July 31, 2024, the episode of “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” unfolds with Vaiju and Rannvijay embarking on their journeys to Jhumri Patan. Vaiju gets off at the bus stop, where Rannvijay, coincidentally, also passes by but fails to notice her. Reflecting on her past, Vaiju dresses up as a bride with her traditional accessories, recalling the times she removed them. Meanwhile, Rannvijay is caught up in the midst of a farmers’ protest demanding their rights. He realizes that fate has brought him back to Jhumri Patan, a place he had vowed never to return to.

Kailash speaks to Aaji, claiming that Vaiju found a good husband because of him, though she doesn’t seem to care for them now. Vaiju arrives, hugging Aaji and apologizing for her previous actions that made Aaji ill. Kailash questions Rannvijay’s whereabouts. At the hotel, a staff member recognizes Rannvijay. Vaiju lies, saying Rannvijay is busy but loves her a lot and has come to meet Aaji. Villagers arrive at Kailash’s house with news of Rannvijay’s presence in Jhumri Patan.
Aaji defends Rannvijay, stating he has already accepted Vaiju. The Sarpanch decides to visit Rannvijay, causing Vaiju to worry and rush to inform him. However, Rannvijay is preoccupied and misses her calls, increasing her anxiety. Vaiju rushes to the hotel, taking a shortcut. The Sarpanch, Kailash, and other villagers reach the hotel, surprising Rannvijay and Vaiju. Rannvijay remembers his forced marriage to Vaiju as he sees the villagers.
The Sarpanch apologizes for misunderstanding Rannvijay and thanks him for accepting Vaiju. Aaji asks if he has forgiven them all, mentioning their inability to help him last time and expressing their willingness to assist now. Rannvijay, burdened with resolving the farmers’ strike and restarting factory work, reluctantly agrees to visit Aaji’s house. Aaji asks Vaiju to stand beside Rannvijay for the aarti before entering the house.
Rannvijay, frustrated, questions Vaiju’s presence and her reasons for leaving everything behind. Vaiju explains that until the factory issues are resolved, he cannot return to Jaya and asks for his cooperation. Rannvijay requests the Sarpanch to arrange a meeting with the protest leader. He tries to negotiate with the farmers, explaining that a 30% increase is unfeasible, despite already raising their wages by 15%. Vaiju, meanwhile, starts cutting sugarcane and explains the benefits of grafting to the farmers, which can increase their crop yield. While the farmers agree, the leader insists they will continue the strike until all demands are met. The episode concludes with Rannvijay agreeing to stay at Aaji’s house for the night.
In the upcoming episode, Jaya will notice Vaiju wearing vermillion during a video call with Rannvijay.
